just remember, relax while ur swimming...
it will not harm you if you don't think too much..

I used to panic too...but you have to get rid of your fear. You won't drown unless you have like 0 bone density or something like that so you sink. The first time I got in a swimming pool since 4 years (which was like 3 months ago) I seriously was all like omgomgomg...I can't touch the ground..and I was freaking out silently in my head. Then I just relaxed and stoped panicking.
You should relax more too and you'll overcome your fear. Heck, now I LOVE to jump in the deep end of the pool...which is like 15 feet at our school.

i can't swim at all. o____o;; i will never ever go to the deep end of the pool.
i can only swim underwater...and then, it's like...you can't see and breathe so it's not that fun. haha
yeeaaahhhh~.
when we had swimming units in pe, that never helped at all either. three times i had swimming units. never learned

Sad I know, I'm already 16.
and for most of my school life,
there has been swimming programs
which I usually miss out on ..
but I have had some lessons !
But meh ~~ failed miserably T___T;;

I never really thought that so many people can't swim. It was pretty much a requirement back when I was at school to be able to swim 50 meters (2 lengths of the half sized pool) and tread water for like 3 minutes... otherwise you kept going to swimming lessons during your lunch break until you learned how.
But really, EVERYONE should be able to swim. You never know when it'll save your life.

i've learned for a few years when i was a kid, but i stopped and last time i checked, i can't swim anymore =[ kinda sad cause i would probably be fit and healthy if i still can unlike now (computercomputercomputer) XD
