im really confused how to upload the .srt files onto vista windows media player. i downloaded a .srt uploader and there was a guide of how to upload it but it was for windows XP/2000

I heard vobsubs could help. Google it and try.
Alternatively, you can watch with the subtitles without combining the .srt and video file.
1. Download VLC media player.
2. Put subtitle (.srt) and video (.avi, etc) into the same folder.
3. Ensure that your subtitle file and video file has the same name.
E.g.
Video file: Witch Yoo-Hee Ep1.avi
So subtitle file has to be: Witch Yoo-Hee Ep1.srt
4. Use the VLC media player to open the avi and subs appear automatically. Enjoy.

it's weird how my VLC never does that, but Media Player Classic always does, I have to manually set the location of the sub for VLC, too lazy to fix it as MPC is my default player anyways, just use VLC for things that are still d/ling.
