Korean singer Jo Kwan-woo will hold a solo concert in Yokohama to begin his career in Japan. Titled "Jo Kwan-woo's Summer Festival 2007," the performance will take place on July 15th to mark the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Yokohama Port. The concert will be part of the finale for the 52nd World Fireworks Festival.
At the concert, Jo will sing a string of hits, including the original sound tracks from popular TV dramas. He will also perform the Japanese renditions of his biggest hit, "In the Flower Garden," and a special arrangement of Japanese singer Suzuki Kiyomi's single "Taxi" for his Japanese fans.
Jo's agent said that dozens of Japanese fans had attended Jo's concerts in Korea before and that this concert in Japan was first suggested by a Japanese businessman who was inspired by Jo's album. He added that Jo is looking forward to starting his career in Japan.
