i know this major is kind of a cross between business / computer science and engineering. you don't need the physics class for engineering and you dont need the science classes i dont think. instead you take couple business related classes.

feel free to correct me if im wrong...

is anyone majoring in this field? what uc's/csu's are known to be pretty good in this field? what are some jobs you can have with this major? competition level?

You just learn enough to have a broad knowledge of different computer languages and databases and figure out how to implement those technologies to improve your business. It's fun.
