Over summer vacation, the East High Wildcats are ready to enjoy their vacation and earn some money at summer jobs. Troy Bolton lands a job at the country club, Lava Springs, not knowing that his job is a part of Sharpay's plan to steal him from Gabriella. Accidentally foiling Sharpay's plot, Troy not only helps Gabriella get a job as a lifeguard, but also lands jobs for Chad, Taylor, Zeke, Martha, Kelsi, Jason and the rest of his Wildcat teammates.

Making it worse, Sharpay finds out Kelsi has written a duet for Troy and Gabriella that's sure to outperform everyone at the club's annual Midsummer Night's Talent Show. Reminded of her humiliation in winter musical, Sharpay is determined not to suffer a repeat and forms her own campaign to make sure she's not upstaged again. As they go head to head, Troy is enjoying the life of the privileged set, and begins to question his values.

Anyone excited for this? I can't wait for it! Fell in love with the first one ^^ Troy and Gabriella : )

I saw the whole movie on youtube this morning and it's really fun. Disney took the videos down, though, so I can't rewatch it. I think Troy+ Gabriella is overrated. I like seeing the Ryan+ Gabriella parts (Troy gets jealous!). The ending's pretty terrible, though.

The songs weren't even as great as the first one and the movie is 100x cheesier than the first one. Sharpay was too dramatic ... and exaggerated way too much.

Did anyone think Troy's scene where he sings 'Bet On It,' was totally gay/homo? lol. I mean seriously, the way he dressed, his facial expression, and the dance or whatever he was doing was so LOL. :D

This second movie was made on over twice the budget as the first, and you can totally tell that this production was more grand. Like the last scene at the talent show, NICEE.

I think the songs from the first one were overall better than the second. I liked all the songs from the first movie, but some songs in the second movie will make you go But the songs that WERE actually good from the 2nd are GOOD. I think my fav is gotta go my own way, kind of like Gabriella's solo when she breaks up with Troy.

I have the whole Soundtrack I'll try to upload them later....just saw it yesterday I made a dvd...so I watched it on television...it's really good...though the whole video is really long....and miley cyrus made a special appearance in the end...while they are dancing...really good movie...so watch out for it..

Just DLed it also. The movie was okay.

Yeah, he did act a little homo in that song "Bet On It", lol. It was an okay song though. Personally, I think that Zac/Vanessa overact their characters too much.
