for verizon, unless you have a usb cable using a micro sd card for ringtones is kinda impossible. however there may be a trick that might work on your phone that i do to mine (i have verizon also). when you drag your mp3 files into your memory card, drag it into the MY SOUNDS section if you have one. then put the card into your phone, and after that send the mp3 that's in your SOUNDS section to yourself as an attachment on a text message.
or if you want to send your ringtones through email, go to your email onto your computer. attach the song that you want as a ringtone (you can't send multiple ringtones as email attachments) and email it to *your phone number*@vzwpix.com, for example 100-555-6666@vzwpix.com but take out the dashes. and then when you get the message you save the sound as a ringtone. if you don't receive the message then you might have to rename your mp3 files to something like YOURFILENAME.mid or YOURFILENAME.qcp and im assuming that your mp3 files aren't TOO long because it won't work if your files are like 1-2 minutes long.
lol i know it sounds confusing but hopefully it'll work ^^"
