Hello. I hope this goes there. There is this freaken pervert who has been using my picture and creating a site and abusing it. That pervert is also leaving me very nasty comments and messages in my xanga and he linked me to this site. I want to know how to allow my friends to view my site and block other people that arent in my subscription list. Also, I reported this site like over 20 times but it still hasn't closed down which is very annoying and I was wondering on how that works. I hope people still use xanga these days.

Set all your posts to private (or I think it was protected) so only people that you specify can read your blog. Unfortunately, this means that you have to do it manually for all your previous posts as well.

Having users sign in to view your page won't help that much, as the person harassing you can just make endless accounts and see your page.

edit - Go to your privacy settings and change what you feel is needed. Anonymous posting, Friend lock, etc.

i'm guessing you've checked out: http://safety.xanga.com/

if you set your posts as private, then only you can read it
not even subscribers can read them

there is a setting where you can set who can read your protected posts
http://www.xanga.com/Private/protectedposting.aspx

you've just have to set all your posts as protected
and add your friends to that list
regular subscribers can only read your public posts

i haven't tried the friends lock option yet, so i'm not too sure about it

Thank you but that guy stopped. Apparently he has been doing it to a lot of people. hackinbg xanga's using pictures of other people and all that. I am just that he stopped harrasing me.

thank goodness he stopped. But you should make sure the site he made of you is shut down. Wow, who has the time to do all this to anonymous people? Weird.
