with the wsop underway, i thought a poker thread would be nice.
talk about your bad beats, what makes you tilt, and your experiences playing in tourneys or online.

There's not really much that puts me on tilt when I play online I don't even pay too much attention to the tables. At a casino it's also hard to go on tilt I just talk to others during play, easy way to keep thinking straight and remaining relaxed.
I've won a few tournaments as well as random sit n gos online. I think I prefer ring games though compared to those (sit n gos, although the ones that are >$50 entry fee are quite worth it). Tournaments are the most entertaining I think.
The only bad beat that really irks me even now was when I was in a ring game. I had Kings so I go all in for about 300$ and another guy calls with 200$ . Flop was 4 6 8, turn 2 river 10. I thought I'd just won $200 more to my chip stack but he had 5-7. Well about 20 minutes later I was back up to around $400 and I get JJ. I raise, the same guy with 5-7 raised back at me, so I go all in. He called, although he somehow was up to $500. Anyway the flop was 7-7-5, and well i didn't hit a jack, but that's the only bad beat that sticks in my mind.

dang, i hate pokerroom. there are so many badbeats.

but i do enjoy playing with friends.

Im very into playing poker. not so much online cause I think its all of a conspiracy thing (dont really want to get into it) but playing with friends and taking their money is always fun =)


I follow alot of blogs of people who are playing in WSOP right now and it seems its going pretty smoothly
