Yeah my internet at the moment REALLY lags! Like on a good day when my computer is in a good mood and "happy" (that's how i refer to it as) the internet works for a good long while. But sometimes when it's in a bad mood my internet won't work for like what... 3-4 days. Longest was about a month I think o___o

And my family was thinking about getting the AT&T Yahoo High Speed Internet that only costs like $14.99-$15.99 a month. Not bad...

But how is it? Is it good? bad? If this High Speed internet isn't good then please recommend me one that's at a CHEAP and reasonable price.

it depends on what you do online. if you upload/download massive files, att/yahoo might be too slow for your needs. it suits my needs just fine since all i do is watch video on youtube, or check out photos on flickr.

Which one's better though in like performance and reliability?! Verizon or AT&T and wat goes for the cheaper price and gives a reasonable speed for the amount u pay for? I'm thinking between these two rite now because Comcast just goes down like all the time like no other.. It's horrible service for the amount i'm paying for. How much is Verizon? Do they have like one type of speed or many? Wat's fios? haha!! i'm sorry, i dunno anything about these two internet providers~ happy.gif

DSL = Sucks.

I don't know about you, but in my area, if you want fast internet, you might as well use Cox Cable. DSL here isn't as fast and I've visited my friend's house who live a few blocks away, her net is slower than mine.

But I think it all comes down to how much you're willing to pay. My friend pays less for her internet, while my bill is $50 a month, but I get 4mbps download and 60kbps upload.

Which service provider (Verizon or AT&T) can give me the better end of the deal for 14.99 a month? I don't wanna pay too much on the internet just need it to go at a reasonable high speed.. Make sure they don't have any bad service and doesn't go down alot for a longggg time as well~ Tat's y I hate comcast. argh!!!!!

WAIT! If i'm not mistaken AT&T uses the phone line to browse the internet rite? If they do, I can't go with them so does Verizon have a different way to browse the internet..?!?!

the speeds aren't lightning fast, but I'm able to browse comfortably and watch streaming videos.

For $19.99 a month, its alright.

I would recommend it. So far I haven't had any major problems with it.

To use AT&T Yahoo High Speed DSL, you'll need to be w/ AT&T land line service. For $19.99 a month, I'm not complaining really. The modem and wireless router was free too.

Korean Minam 93: Yes, you can use the phone when you're browsing the internet. Even though they use the same jack, the DSL and phone line are separate.

Here are the speeds you're looking to get:
