I read my laptop's user manual and it said in order to reinstall my computer I would have to put the recovery disk into the drive and then turn off my computer. When I turn it back on again the cd's supposed to automatically load and I'm supposed to press f12 and follow the instructions; HOWEVER! after turning off my computer and turning it back on again, windows still loads and the cd does nothing. When I click the tray for it to open and push the cd back in, the folder comes up and it's a PQI file, and it's like, I can't even open it? I don't know if that's what's supposed to happen but I'm confused now. Am I supposed to download a program in order for the PQI file to work? How do I make the cd automatically run when I turn my laptop on instead of having windows load?
