Take a look at Hacride, Meshuggah, Mnemic, Carnival in coal, Mastodon, Burzum, Sybreed, Strappind Young Lad (and all Devin Townsend's stuff), Khanate, Melt Banana,... and so on.
(yep, I know, i'm not strictly talking about metal too

(most hardcore than "metal", but metal anyway)

yes..I love Metal.....Killswitch Engage, Underoath, Poison the Well, Meshugguh ( spelled wrong).....I love Metal..I love it.
I have been waiting for this thread.... I was getting tired of Bi and stuff....time for some Diversity up in hea!

By the way, am I the only one who do not really relate metal to rock, but more to industrial music, doom, ambiant, and this kind of stuff ("dark" music, in a way) ?
