Lame title

My last semester as a college student was really, really hard.
Finals, final year project, job interviews...
My body eventually gave up and I've gotten sick.

I had this terrible tonsillitis and I lost my voice *gasps*

Ok, enough useless ramblings.

These two songs are my first attempts at singing again.
My vocal chords are still weak, I guess T_T

+ Because of You (Ne-Yo)
+ All I Know (Brian Joo)

I hesitated posting this up cos they're kinda bad.
But I need comments to bounce back again!

Because of You:
first off--are you using a vocal cut? =S The quality is weird, and the Ne-Yo's backup vocals are overpowering your voice =( PM me, and I'll upload the clean instrumental. You can do the harmonies yourself, they aren't hard xD
Your pronounciation is a little weird to me, but that's a matter of preference I think, I just think you could show off your voice more with a slightly more dropped jaw, so your words sound slightly rounder and fuller--but like i said, it's a matter of preference.
But your voice is very mature and sensual. I admit, this song is beginning to grow on me, all the female covers I've heard of it lately.

Chris - Thank you so much for the helpful comments. Yes, that was a vocal cut. I was too lazy to find the instru. I was just testing out my voice and I felt like doing Ne-Yo xD My English IS a little weird, I guess. I don't speak much English LOL. Which explains why I don't do English songs as much. Hey, mind sending me the clean instru? TQ!

I really like the "All I Know" really good.
For the most part, I really like your voice. But I think it would be better if your voice could sound... stronger? Its really good as it is now, but sometimes when I hear your vibrato, its sounds like it could be improved. X3 But this could be because your voice is weak at the moment XD

anyways, may I ask where you got this instrumental? I want it lol.

Because of You sounds awesome. Yeah, pronounciation sounds weird at points but eh, everyone says stuff differently. Really wouldn't able to tell you were suck that much.
I think some of the notes are changed too quickly, losing a flowy feeling...but it might be just me.

You know, it took me a while to realise that 검은눈물 was the Korean version of All I Know
I love this <3 It's great. A tiny bit of clipping in a part but it's not distracting. You do r&b so well ><

Rai - Dude. I love you for loving me. You know what, it happened to me too. I was so obsessed with that song, I put it on repeat for many days. And when I finally played other songs on the album, I was just baffled to find a Korean version of it LOL. I've been practicing our collab song too. I want my singing to be great. Just for you babe xD

rufus - I'm indeed feeling better now. I have to use the fan instead of a/c cos it makes my nose all wet and runny LOL. And it's summer! I'm crazy.
