After driving around old cars since I was 17, I finally got a car that has working A/C and rust free. Took a long time but I finally got what I wanted and for an pretty damn high price but its gonna be worth it!

Proud owner of a 2004 Acura RSX Type-S thats totally stock for another week. rolleyes.gif

Why get a S2K over a RSX-S?

Mostly for status and performance...but who really cares?
Grats on the new car and happy driving!

S2000 = To noisey, tires wear out to fast, not very safe in wet weather. Has its pro's as well though sweatingbullets.gif

Actually, I had the time to check out the S2000 from the Local Honda Dealership before purchasing my RSX. The S2000 was a good eal, ($19,000 with 20k, yellow convertable) but I also had a chance to evalute iton daily driver. It do as good on gas miliage nor does it offer as much aftermarket as the RSX. The RSX offers a much more open market not to mention the cheaper maintence. The Honda S2000 had a few flaws with it like it didn't feel so roomy as the RSX as well as trunk space. I actually need a back seat because I take people places beisdes me so I wanna say I did consider the S2000, just wasn't for my taste for a DD.

So far, I just have a Weapon R intake filter and its much louder than stock. I am gonna go for a Type-R styple rear lip as well as some Wings West Sides to go with the ebayed body kit. I am looking to get an Apex-i Exhast, just not sure which one because my prelude used a Apex-i N1 exhaust and I loved it. Consider the N1 right now, just looking for a well priced exhaust right now though.

Interior pictures coming very soon!

I"ll admit, it looks damn high and it feels damn high. My prelude had suspension problems and it seemed a low lower to the ground because it was such an old car. I think I'll lower it sooner or later when I get an front and rear strut bar as well as a camber kit. But tell you the truth, I don't wanna deal with uneven tire wear because of being dropped. I don't wanna really mess with camber kits because its a lot of worry about name brand which adds cost to the car. I still gotta afford insurance and payments every month and such.

Thanks on the props, the front lip was just ordered 3 hours after the car arrived at my house with me driving it home from Cleveland. The sides are gonna be Wings West and the Rear another ebay special. The blackouts will be followed with HID projectors from the Acura TSX. I am gonna retrotit the HID's myself like I did in my prelude.

Thanks for the props though people, I'm very happy with my investment. 6-speed took a little getting used to but its much faster than my H22 Prelude.

I'm assuming that you don't own a s2k or ever drove one.

Be careful riding around on the stock tires lol. They suck big time. Sounds like you're off to a good start. Good luck, have fun, stay safe biggrin.gif

They did. This car is a 2004. The last year for the RSX was 2006.

Thanks fellas, I'm already a member there for a while and I've been into research before picking up my cars anyways. So far I got my CF hood from there from there as well as my exhaust. I'm looking into getting Kpro asap because seems to be the best bang for your buck along with the intake and header. Can't wait, I think I am getting kind of used to the Type-S powa already.

I'm actually working on a TSX HID retrofit right now because after driving my prelude with HID's, driving at night with halogen is like using a flash light. I'll have to post pictures of it as soon as its done.
