Those prepackaged noodles are generally unhealthy, no matter what brand and where you buy them. Those things are just loaded with sodium, which isn't good in copious amounts. If you can't completely avoid them, just eat them on occasion. Moreover, I doubt that they aren't as good as the homemade versions.

As for the preparation of green tea, sorry - can't help you there.

No matter what, they're probably unhealthy. The flavouring has soooo much salt.

just look at the nutritional data. It's filled with calories but have virtually no nutrients whatsoever. Also, as aforementioned, sodium like crazy. I eat it once a week tops.

how to make green tea:

boil enough water for how many cups you want

put the desired amount of green tea in each cup (for tea leaves a teaspoon should do it or a teabag per cup)

let the water cool a bit (to not scald the leaves)

pour water into cup over leaves/teabag

steep for 3 minutes

enjoy!

If you don't want to eat so unhealthily, then just add your own soup base. Make chicken soup, and add that as a base to your noodles. Seriously.

I don't think ones from supermarkets are similar to ones from asian stores.

REAL ramen noodles are "wet" not dry.

If you want a healthier soup base, use a good quality miso base.

They are quick serve ramen, like you would find in any Japanese grocery store. If you live in Cali, go check out Mitsuwa Market. The one in Torrance on Western Ave. has all kinds of ramen & udon.

Still a lot of sodium in the soup base, but at least it TASTES good. The noodles taste way better than instant. You just boil them for about 2 mins; I like to rinse them in cold (filtered) water before combining with the soup base.

I rarely eat it, but it's quick and easy to make.

ramen noodles are much fatter noodles than the reg. asian noodles i eat (instant noodles / the ones from thailand or the brand "mama"), but that's just my opinion.

Glad to help.Miso base is like a concentrated paste of fermented soybeans. You just dilute in water and heat to make a nice broth. Add some chopped green onions when serving. If you don't live near a Japanese grocery store, you can check out Maruwa.comHere is the link for the miso:http://www.maruwa.com/onlineshop/basic_sea..._seasoning.htmlHTH

The Shimadaya stuff is usually about 5% total fat/3% saturated fat (for 1 packet).

The noodles are all unhealthy. Ramen is fried noodles... and imagine what they fry it in.
As for green tea... sorry. No se.
