But anyways, I want to get going on College Applications ASAP....probably get the UC applications all done first x_x but anyways I don't think they're out yet....filling out applications, but if they are....x_x I need help!
Besides that, is anyone worried? x_x I feel dead worried....I have a 3.7 accumulative without Junior year....but uh...I think my gpa for my Junior year will bring it down greatly x_x (3.5............................................) And my ACT and SAT scores aren't that great....I dead suck in taking multiple choice tests (gonna take them again T_T)
XD That and I'm curious, where are other people applying?

Yeah, I'm super worried too. T_T I'm no satisfied with my standardized test scores (and I hang out with super smart friends, which doesn't make it any better), and my GPA is decent (I think. I kind of died junior year ahahah) but I'm still nervous. Already. And it's only July.
I'm applying to like... UCs and some random private schools... x__x

The rest.. I'm not sure. ><
My GPA is average I guess.. 3.8 cumulative.. But then I'm unsatisfied with my SAT scores..

Most private universities and colleges require 3 SATII's...so I would THINK three but I have no clue.
Since I grew up in California my whole life, I'm itching to go to the east coast for a change specifically New York. Other than that, UC's for sure!
Personally I'm more worried about the personal statements and the extracurriculars than the test scores. A bunch of other people will have the similar scores as you, but its the extra stuff that makes you stand out. I mean compared to my other friends who've been doing a whole bunch of stuff since they could walk...my list looks kind of shabby.
Eek..and I thought junior year was bad..

I'm planning to apply to yale, princeton, columbia, upenn, uchicago, amherst, cornell, mcgill, MIT, and as a saftey university of florida
stats:
1. 2220 SAT (R710, M760, W750) <--not as high as i would like but i don't think i'll do any better
2 Subject tests: 670 Bio M, 730 MathII, 790 MathI, planning to take english and mathII in oct., def. not satisfied with my scores
3. 4.0 unweight GPA, 4.9 weighted, ranked 4/500+

LOL i have my common app done already (just need recs/guidance forms filled but my part is done) so now i'm waiting for individual school's supplements to come out as well as columbia and MIT's apps. I've also sent out all my scores already so don't need to worry about that anymore=]

Took the words out of my mouth.
I can definitely relate. I'm from California as well-- wanting to go to New York, however I'm not sure if that's the distance I'm willing to take. My parents are somewhat hesitant with the plan because they'd like me to stay closer.
So, if anything, I'll go to a good UC and then attend a graduate school in NY.
And my junior year kind of sucked. I'd been holding up straight As first two years of high school, and that fell down the drain after trying to juggle four AP classes, community service, piano, etc.
I'm afraid that I'm trying to be too well-rounded that I blend in with everyone.
My scores are not too great compared to some of the geniuses I find lurking Soompi, but I'm stressed about the essays since those can make or break your entrance. Well, according to what I've heard.

My SAT scores suck compared to the other people that posted on this thread so don't feel too bad.
Anyways I have no idea where to start. There's so many things you have to get done esp if you're planning on early action & early decision (cus that's what I'm doing.. hoping to get accepted by a school by Dec).
About early action..
Its okay to do more than one right? Cus early decision is the binding one...
