they're some kind of contests that SM holds i believe.. for example: Changmin from TVXQ got into SM through the 2nd Best Youth Contest.. Xiah from TVXQ got in through Starlight Casting System.. and Jessica Jung (SM trainee that is gonna debut in the new SM Artist Group) got into SM by the SM Casting 2000. .... WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?? and are these contests still happening? i know that the __th Best Youth Contest thing occured semi-annually.. but is it still going on? like is there gonna be the Best Youth Contest thing this year and if yes, when? and what is Starlight Casting System and SM Casting and when are they happening?
or is SM just having open auditions and Global Auditions and some online contests nowadays?

I don't really know about the first two.
Actually, I'd love to know the difference between them, too.
The last one is a contest that they have had every year for about ten years, I think.
I think they tour in Korea or something because I tried looking it up and they had schedule dates in different cities like Seoul and Busan.

Sorry not providing any useful information here but wow this was one year ago and in the wrong section too, lol. Jessica Jung even debuted already haha.. Maybe you can email SM itself to check?
