i noticed a bunch of people on Soompi can make really pretty icons and avatars and banners. what program is this? i want to start doing that stuffff! i would have posted this in the art section but i didn't know if it was appropriate. i thought only artwork went in there.

i want an art program that after i draw/ink my drawings, i can like fix them up and color them in.

is it Adobe Photoshop? if it is, how on earth did you get a program like that? it's mucho expensive!

if anyone knows about how FREE or very INEXPENSIVE programs, please link me.<3

people can get em cheap by borrowing the photoshop CD from someone who has it...or downloading a pirate version (i think thats what majority of ppl do)

i personally got photoshop from a friend who sent it over AIM ^^;

u can download the trial version of photoshop on the adobe website

i have cs2 on my laptop
but im trying out the cs3 on my new computer
it look so pretty! i think...easier to use
now i just need to figure out how to get the cs3 for keeps

i use paint shop pro cuz i'm NOOB with photoshop.
i just use it to enhance the quality of a picture and that's it..
with photoshop you can move things or something with the liquidfy tool i think..

I want Photoshop >__< But ive already used the trial up & Limewire has the virused versions...

Anyways it doesnt have to be PhotoShop. My friend uses this old program called PhotoStudio from ArcSoft & her creations r amazing!
It's how yu USE the program~

I have photoshop 7.0

lol i refuse to upgrade to CS for some reason.

I'm still a noob though. most of the time, I just use it for fixing up pics... i hardly ever use brushes and stuff like that...

my dad is a computer freak who knows other computer freaks, so he got the whole adobe suite from a friend, and gave it to me. 0_0 im still stuck on CS though... i have yet to get that CS3. =\
