Okay well, basically my little niece's summer preschool graduation is coming up on the 21st next week. Its also a potluck and each child is required to bring a dish. And my sister is depending on me to cook something up for 20kids cause she literally sucks at it. When I first heard about it, I said thats easy, I'll just make cute cupcakes
and then my sister said they won't accept cupcakes cause the school board here banned sweets from all schools
so basically I can't make cupcakes. Which I think is really dumb. You can't even bring cupcakes for the class if its someone's birthday either.. but yeah, what should I make that kids will really enjoy and not just waste it?

can you make something like a fruity dessert? like jello with mangoes in it? it doesnt really have artificial sweets in it, well if that fails you can make noodles, i think kids love noodles that are really saucy... ive liked it since i was a kid and always asked for more sauce so make more sauce

What? No sweets? >.< I was going to say brownies..because I remember that's the first thing I ate at my preschool graduation. haha Hmm..I'd probably go w/ fruit too because..fruit can taste really good? I never knew of any little kid that minded fruit. You could get a bunch of different kinds and chop some up into small pieces (Apples, grapes, strawberries, oranges..etc). Another easy one is..cheese cut up into fun shapes. haha Basically, yummy fruits or something healthy but entertaining.^^
Here's a website w/ some recipes. Some are pretty cute. =]

Can you bring in fried stuff?
How about mini eggrolls? Or mini vegeterian eggrolls?
How could they ban sweets?? That is like, heaven for a little kid!
