I would look in the Korean newspaper; that's where we got our dog. It was a purebreed, but unfortunately it had to be put to sleep. I wouldn't really advise getting a Jindo (from my experience with it) because they can get extremely aggressive. My Jindo killed a few animals when we had it (once I saw it kill a possum TT_TT) , and it would run out of our electric fence, even when it was at the highest voltage. Then it started to pester other dogs, and so forth, and our neighbors called Animal Control.
So unless you can really tame your dog, it may be hard to keep it under control O_O But I don't know, that was just my experience with a Jindo.

My friend had a Jindo dog! He REALLY liked people. If he saw anyone, he'd jump on them and wag his tail furiously and wouldn't leave you alone unless someone else came
Sweet dog, but when I first met him in 4th grade...dang...I was hecka scared since that dog was wayyy bigger than me. My friend had to get rid of hers because the neighbors were complaining =( So yeah...train the dog well.

Availability
Jindo dogs are not well known and not very common in the United States or generally outside of Korea, especially purebreds, since the Korean government restricts the exportation of this breed.
However, Jindo Dogs are taken into the U.S. by former residents of Korea, and are bred for sale there.
Additionally, there are hundreds of Jindos that need homes due to irresponsible breeders and the large number of strays, especially in cities such as Los Angeles. Jindos take awhile to warm up to humans and thus are sometimes overlooked at pet adoptions. They will grow into a loyal, kind, protective, intelligent and interesting pet. They are readily available at many shelters and rescue sites.

Wikipedia. Not really a credible source, but it is often reliable ...

we had a purebreed. and when it had puppies, we gave them away for free -__-;
my dad doesn't believe in selling animals
what we did was call a korean radio station during this certain time...i think it was when
they would take calls and share what people are selling. all the puppies were given away
like 30 minutes after it was announced. probably cause they were free. go figure.
try animal shelters because i saw a lot of jindo dogs there...but not sure if they were full breeds...

My dog is a purebred white 진도 개 - a family friend gave him to us because he illegally exported a pregnant white 진도 개 from Korea, but I remember seeing a website dedicated to finding homes for abandoned Jindo dogs. As I think everyone knows, Jindo dogs are fiercely loyal and potentially aggressive - not exactly family dogs, though I've been with my dog since I was 7. (And he's the sweetest, smartest, most amazing dog I could ask for
)
Most people abandon them because they find them too hard to care for...I find this a bit paradoxical, though, because Jindo dogs aren't innate murderers - it depends on the dog's upbringing. The traditional Korean way of leaving the dog outside and raising them to be attackers will make them belligerent, but the solution isn't abandoning them
What is funny, though, is that my dog loves women but hates men
I can never hang out with guy friends at my place because my dog will just be howling the entire time, but if one of my girl friends comes over, he'll be all over her.
