Hello, so.. are there? or fans of the Trojans? I see there are A LOT of Bruins here haha, but it's okay! I have friends at UCLA as well.

So a little about me, I'm quite new here, and I say "quite" because I've been here before..like maybe 3-4 years ago haha. But now I'm back! And now I'm in college.. obviously at USC. I just finished my freshman year and I love it there, so I'm just looking for fellow college-mates!

Yeah, I always wondered why there were no USC threads in the college forum.

I don't mind UCLA though; high school gave me a dislike for inter-school rivalries because ours was too intense. Unless it's all in good fun!

If you guys are doing on-campus housing, where are you guys staying? I'm living in Parkside 2 next year. The Arts and Humanities one.

the new parkside? that place is supposed to be ridiculously nice , like tuscany but with actual quality

i just finished moving into city park on 30th, whole lot of asian and indian people.

Yeah, the new Parkside Apartments/Suites should be REALLY nice. My friends and I opted for the cheapest housing possible this year haha. So we're living in the Max Kade House, which is right behind the Row on Hoover. Woohoo, no more walking back to campus barefoot after a long night of partying haha (we used to live in Pardee).

I'm living in La Sorbonne next year. No one knows where it is but it's this tiny little white building next to Century (and across from Cardinal). I got one of the four single studios (there's a bunch of studios for two people though) in all of on-campus housing so...i'm totally happy! lol. rent is 825/mo+util but....i prefer living alone

La Sorbonne sounds really nice. I actually wanted to live in a single of some sort this coming year, but in the end I decided not to.

Parkside 2, well I'm not sure yet. I poked around the construction site a few times during the school year and I don't like the stairways. Not enough windows like Parkside 1. Parkside 1 actually has more variety in their floor plans, and Parkside 2 only has 8 person double suites. I guess we'll see how it goes. I'm expecting a lot of mishaps, like electricity randomly going out and the water system not working as well as it should, because the first year is usually a test run for new buildings.

AHHH i wanted La Sorbonne T_T i was like it would be really awesome if i had my own studio... but its too expensive for me. T_T

I'm glad some people are living places I haven't heard about in some other forums. like I couldn't choose some of them because nobody knew about them. I wanted to live in Max Kade house except my roommate was like "you are gonna get shot" or something like that because its on hoover... urrrhh.. I wouldn't ahve minded too much since it has a single for like 480 or something. So tell me how that goes because if its good I'm gonna attempt to get it next year ^^
