My little sister's boyfriend recently moved to Arizona.. (we live in cali) and his birthday is coming up.. she wants to send a big heart shaped cookie with decorations on it like M&M`s saying happy birthday, i miss you etc. But the thing is how can we send it to him without the price being expensive? can we stick it in a giant envelope? lmao help us out here please!

how about dry ice? But then you have to find a box for it.

i send baked goods to a dongseng of mine all the time. i also live in cali.. he lives in georgia. are the m&ms gunna be stuck onto the cookie with icing or is it gunna be pressed into the cookie when it's fresh out of the oven to stick? or are you doing some kinda order thing with mrs.fields cookies? to cut on the expenses, i usually just put my baked goods in a box (as small as possible to fit the goods) and fill the rest of the space with bubble wrap, paper, etc. tightly enough so the item doesn't move around a lot.
you also have to consider that the box will be on all of it's sides, so chances are that this giant cookie your sister wants to send will end up face down - which may mess up the decor unless it's just m&ms that are stuck on there with a dried paste of like powdered sugar and water.

If you're sending perishable food, send it Express/Overnight mail. It'll get there in 1 business day. They have boxes at the post office, you have to use the ones labeled with Express Mail on them. Cookies should be okay without dry ice.
