Coldplay isn't American..but they ROCK period..but if you're looking for some good American Cristian music..my Japanese friend turned me on to Hillsongs..they are awesome.

Yah, Ellegarden is great, same with Radwimps(Japanese band), their English pronunciation is indistinguishable with other American bands, it's that good.
Oh and Monkey Majik.
