Hey guys
i'm thinkin of getting the Sony Ericsson W610i and I was wondering if you guys have any pros and cons on this phone according to your own experiences.

its the same as the k550i but has walkman 2.0 for its media player. these 2 phones are a reharsh of the k750i/w810i with new functions like a2dp stereo bluetooth.

I would get the k550i because it comes with a slider which is cool, then if you want the walkman media player than flash it to w610i firmware. beware tho, the w610i hisses in its music playback in low volumes and probaly the k550i too, won't be a concern if your an audiophile tho.

the k550i/w610i is a very fast phone (twice as fast as the k750i and can load 7 or more java programs), recommended.

I hope you meant the lens cover as the "slider" you're talking about.

Anyways, both the K550 and this are the same. It's just a matter of preference.

More of a music person than a camera person? Get the w610.
More of a camera person than a music person? Get the k550.

i have this phone, it's really nice. the functions are really good. and it's really basic and simple. and yeah. if you really like music, it's just a press of a button and you get to the walkman.. it's so convinient.

is the key pad a big hassle?

i have this phone for around 8 months now, and i kinda like it...
sometimes its hard for me to text message, but is not that bad...
the camera is pretty good even tho is only 2.0 MP...
the sounds are pretty good too...
