"Get higher SATs."
"Your grades are too low."
"No way."
Unless this is Soompi's ingenious way of concentrating spam. Good job!

Haha seriously. Not trying to provoke anyone for a fight, but I've only seen baehana replying with proper "what are my chances" responses.

Hi
IMO, it's all about the person. You don't have to have community service if you have devoted your interests elsewhere (GoongLovexx, for example, has the lead in the spring musicial). If those interests define who you are, focus on that.

Yeah I did write about the musical since I have been devoted to it for four years in my short answer.
I am re-taking the SATs in December with the hopes that both my math and reading improve, and I am not sure about my SAT IIs.
About my ECs: I recently decided to partake in a group called Partners in Equality which is a multi-cultural type program run on the Naval Air Station where my mom works. My mom's friend needed some help so I volunteered. (I needed community service anyway haha) So I am listing that as an activity too. It probably won't up my chances that much, but it could help. >.<
Also, my average for this quarter is a 95, and my grades have improved alot this year, and I believe the schools look at the first semester of senior year. I am hoping to move up in rank and GPA by the end of this semester.
I think I just need to do amazing with the short answers and essay. ahh >.<

i think st.johns should be safe, brooklyn should be ok, not familiar with union college;
your scores are good for stony, but i heard their medical program is more competitive?
as for cornell and columbia, ur score/transcript is on the low side, but won't keep you out.
And very few APs.
you have a lot of activities; definitely pick the most important ones to talk about, otherwise the app will be too dilute. your service activites are great.
write some brilliant essays!

Don't trip out because you didn't take thirty five and a quarter AP classes junior year like every other Asian and their mother. It's generic, It's boring. It's fake.
Don't take classes just to get into college. You'll end up having no idea what you really want to do in life, because you'll just be used to trying to get good grades like a robot and you won't have any real passion for anything.

I am NOT a leader, I don't do well with public speaking/speeches, and I am not athletic/sporty at all.
I'm in clubs and CSF, and I have an okay GPA.
The only thing I'm good at is giving my friends advice and comforting them when they're feeling down.
But you can't get anywhere with that.
How unfortunate.
