I know this sounds really stupid, but I've been hearing a lot of rumors that a UC school will reject you if you've already been accepted to another UC school. Does applying to a lot of UC schools hurt my chance of getting in?

There's the rumor that if you get into UCB, you're very unlikely to get into UCLA.

I doubt it's true for others tho.

No. In fact, I would strongly recommend that you apply for a lot of colleges. The fee, unfortunately, is about $55 per school you apply to (I don't remember the price exactly). Ultimately, however, you have to choose which UC you want to go into.

Once accepted, the college will ask you to sign the Intent to Register form indicating that this college, AND ONLY THIS COLLEGE, is the one you will attend; you cannot attend more than one at the same time.

Good luck!
Still young, but I feel incredibly old. Silly me.

Not true. People think that the UCs converse between themselves to "balance" it out, but that's false.
good day.

^ I doubt it. It's too much work to go through every single student to find out what school they applied for besides their own. ^^;;

two seniors from my school both got in berkeley AND ucla. one picked ucla, and the other san diego though. i would've soo picked berkeley. so yes, it's possible to get into more than one UC school and get into ucla and berkeley.

Yup. There's sooooo many people who got into both Berkeley and UCLA, at least 15... in fact, I think basically everyone who got into Berkeley got into LA also.
good day.
