lol i've seen this happen quite a number of times..

my friend was parking in a parking lot and she accidentally scratched the car beside her (horrible parking, i knoww), and the owner of the car was in the car, so she had to pay for the scratch

the otherr day i saw someone backing out and they scratched some other car..however, the owner of the car wasn't there, soo they just drove off

in the last year of high school these girls in my grade were parking across the road and accidentally reversed into a car (another student's car). the girl in the passenger seat got out and the driver quickly drove forward to another parking spot. the other girl inspected the damage to the other car and they both quickly ran into school LOL...

My uncle ran into a brand new Z4 while parking one time lol. I still havent stopped making fun of him for that. The only I have scratched would be my own car.... but that was because I was stripping off the paint.

my dad's SUV got scratched, like it was done deliberatedly. THere was this long ugly line in the side of his car. He was furious of course. He had to pay for the damage he did not cause.

one time when we went shopping and came back our car was scratched on the hood, then we took a closer look, and they scratched the word "CHINK" on our cars hood and also broke the hood ornament off and used it to scratch the car

i've never scratched a car in a parking lot but i'm sure someone has scratched mine. some jerk actually broke my side mirror in the parking lot of the mall. i was SO peeved.

That's the thing I'm most afraid of... Getting scratched or scratching someone else's car. My friend was driving and I was in the passenger's seat once (she drives an old 4 door civic) and she totally drove into this other SUV and made a fat dent on the corner of the bumper... But no one was there so we just left and I felt so guilty......

i was backing out/parking & i've scratched the bumpers of 3 cars already.

they were those BIG cars though.. i think 4x4s? not too sure..

but i've written 3 notes to owners.. cuz those were felonies..

Yes, twice. Once in my Ford Probe, it was mint when I went to school and parked in the paring lot, when I came out there was a 2inch ding on it. I wasn't too sad but I wasn't too happy about it either.

The 2nd time was my M3, I parked in a parking lot to have dinner and when I came out there was major damage done to the passenger side rear quarter panel, at this time I was just )(*^%*^&$&^%^^)&)(&&%%$$%#!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh my mom just scratched one like 2 minutes ago. So sad, we were coming back from wednesday church service too. (my bro was in a hurry to watch the Iraq vs Korea game)

Uh I sort of scratched one myself in a school parking lot. I was in a hurry because i was trying to get to the school play (thus whole bunch of people in a hurry behind me) and I then as I made a turn, I heard a thud.

So i hurriedly pulled out and parked somewhere else. i checked the damage on the other car and it seemed like i didn't do any damage to it so I just went inside. My school vice principle's car was right behind mine, but apparently she didn't say anything because the other car's owner never found me.

Though I thought I did no damage, I found a scratch in my car (i'm not sure if i got it from that accident or somebody else did it to me) so I was thinking "maybe I did do some damage to that car but it was dark so I didn't see it" well I hope not. XP

Somebody ran into me in a wal mart parking lot once though, (i have a camry, he had a ford truck. A big truck) he had no damage what so ever, I had a huge BIG dent in my car. (insurance paid me 1100 dollars to fix it)

my neighbor parks on the line every time. we get assigned parking and i have a pole on my other side so i can't move further away. she scratched my door twice this month coz apparently she's blind in opening doors, too. i've since put a towel on the side to absorb the hit (hang it around the door handle); she pretends nothing's happened.
