i drink tap water from my sink... tastes good and never gotten sick from it...
i wouldnt do it outside of the house though... ^^;

we also have a water boiler thing so there's always hot water ready

I mostly drink filtered tap water, or bottled water. Tap water is quite safe actually in my area but it tastes weird to me.

At least in the US tap water is usually safer than bottled water, although rarely in some places there may be an odor to it.

Of course, by safe I mean it's safe as it comes out of the county water processing plant. There was one building I worked in in midtown Atlanta where the pipes in the building added a little something... extra ...to the water. At one point I took a clear plastic water bottle and filled it with water from the water fountain in that building. Had lots of little white flakes floating in it, and had a yellow-brown color that never really settled out, all in all an extremely disturbing experience. Never drank tap water in that specific building... Probably could have had the county health inspector come in and cause trouble for the landlord, but oh well, I just went with bottled water instead.

I cant drink tap water it taste like theres metal in it O__o...I dont drink bottled water as much either I drink filtered water

I drink boiled tap water, my world issues teacher who is a big environmentalist went on this whole like 3 class rant about why bottled water is not safe to drink and it's just causing us all problems. I actually listened and the main reason I trust tap of bottled is because tap water is tested way more often than bottled water, so even if tap taste a bit funny, you at least know it's safe. Bottled water you're like guessing with exactly what is in that water.

Another concern is that tap water is fluoridated where bottled water is not, so drinking tap water is good for your teeth. I've seen reports that say the increasing prevelance of tooth decay amongst younger folks is largely due to the fact that they rarely, if ever, drink tap water. Not sure how reliable such claims are, and there are several other factors that could go into that (increased consumption of sodas, for example), but I'm sure it doesn't help the situation.

i drink water my dad gets from stores, like they pump water into those huge 5 gallon bottles either that or i drink dasani bottled water i cant drink any other brands >.< they have an odd taste to me. I haven't had tap water for 10 years now actually.. o_O;;

Bottle water, Aquafina to be specific. People say that it's all the same, but there's like a weird taste/smell to tap water for me.
