umm, they're not really a pop group but try sampling the music of MYMP - make your momma proud. i think they're more under the genre of R&B/Acoustic.

also, for rock/pop band, there's Bamboo and Parokya ni Edgar.

those are the ones I highly recommend since they're the ones I love the most.

for solo singers, I'm a fan of Regine Velasquez for female singers. i'm not a fan of her music lately though but I still love her. smile.gif

other song "i'll never get over you" is ok too.
jimmy bondoc. he has a good song called "let me be the one".
reynard silva. i'm currently hooked on him.

Most of the popular ppl in the music scenes are in bands.

Maybe Christian Bautista?

He's a good singer. And Jed Madela, too.

i recommend:

- bamboo.
- parokya ni edgar.
- eraserheads. (old band. i don't know if they still are recording though but their songs sure are awesome!.)
- hm, mymp is pretty fine too but i rarely hear original songs from them.
