Well basicly there is a weird groaning creaky sort of noise when ever I turn my wheel while driving and the sound even comes when I'm not turning sometimes while I'm driving down a straight but slightly bumpy road. Someone else looked at it and said that my steering might be loose? I have no idea what that means.
But guys please help me figure out this problem and how to fix it because I really dont want to blow up in the middle of the road here in Hawaii... T_T
Thanks in advance!

Edit: Btw I drive a Dodge Stratus 1996

probably the power steering fluid level is too low/dry

It doesn't make the sound when you brake right? If it is, then you need your brakes looked at ...
Probably, there's something wrong with your steering wheel ...
Although, there might be a chance that your tires are just misaligned and causing your wheel to move around I guess?? haha

are you leaking any fluids? (the ground where you park your car). if you are, you probably blew a power steering hose or low on fluid. if it is, replace it quick or the fluids will leak onto the starter/alternator and kill it too.
could also be a bad axle.

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

Okay well I checked my power steering fluids and stuff and it was fine, also there are no leaking fluids.
I just changed the suspension struts and the brake pads, but there is still the creaky noise when I turn, so I think it might be the CV Boots?
Opinions?
Thx,
Rangerboi

If it is the CV boots, get it fixed ASAP otherwise you may end up needing a new axle if you wait too long. If you look near the wheel well, if you see grease (all over the place of some sort... its the CV boots).
