I think she means it's not as common to find fans from... Mexico or... Middle Eastern Countries than those we commonly interact with here in Soompi. She's just surprised...

they have websites in Russian and French, too--Thai also (it's the Thai languge you see in the 2nd link you posted). These are just a few. If you come into our DBSK thread, you can see we're doing a huge project for them (we work all year on various things like each member's birthday and Christmas), and you will see that there are forums for Spanish, Thai, and French speakers. One of our mods is from Mexico, and another friend+mod is Spanish. We're the International fans that are doing this, so we're from all over the world. Every time we have a project, we find out there are more and more non-Korean and non-Asian fans...there are people from Brazil and Chile too. Turkey as well. Just--everywhere. Middle East too. When we do something for DB or Suju, we include things like postcards, so they can see where we all come from--because they're really curious about their non-Korean/non-Asian fans. One of our group who has met them a bunch of times says they're fascinated. lol The same goes for any group, though--like Seo Taiji--he's even given a concert in Russia because his fanbase is so big there.
It's okay that you asked, really--people do sometimes. Even though there's always been non-Asian members here (and Asian people of different nationalities), some of the members are still shocked when they find out--and others still don't realize it--even if they've been here a while. Many people think that non-Asians wouldn't be interested, just because they've never really met many who are.
Sometimes even our American-born gasoo (and some that are Canadian) are suprised, especially if they find out they have lots of non-Asian fans.
