Blushing Too Much Is there a way to stop it? T_T

I mean, I didn't really notice it until a year ago when one of my friends kept on pointing it out.
"Oh, your face is turning into a tomato!! *poke*"
"Gosh, she turns red a lot!!"
And it's true. >__<; My face feels really warm... and sometimes, when I look into the mirror, it's really red. T____T; And since last year, it's become really bad. Because now I know when I'm blushing, and when I feel like I'm blushing, I get even more embarrassed that I'm blushing, and blush even more. Am I making any sense? ;___;
So I was wondering... is there a way to... uhh... stop from blushing? I'm a bit tan, but it doesn't stop it or anything. Would getting tanner skin help? Or... would wearing foundation help? I'm a bit new to makeup so I'm not sure...
It gets worse when I see cute people. .__.; I try thinking about other things when they approach me, but that doesn't work too. T_T
I'm sorry if this thread is in the wrong section, but any advice would be appreciated. ;_;
...I dream a dream...

i read in cosmo or some magazine that if you hold onto something cold, like a cold water bottle or glass, right when you feel like you're starting to blush, you can prevent it. never tried it, though. i also have a problem with turning cherry red

Here are some ways i use to solve the red blushing problem *>_<*
1. Personal Way - Get more confidence in yourself, so that you don't get embarrassed easily. ^^ Don't listen to what others say or anything! It'll make it worse.
2. Cosmetic Way - Try using a green foundation. o_o It cancels out redness.
3. Product Way - You can buy some products in CVS or Walgreens if you live in the States that cancels redness. Just ask one of the workers for help *^^*
4. Rich Way - i'm sure there's a surgery for this out there somewhere o_o;;
I use #1 and #2 ^^ So now i'm good.
The only time when these methods didnt work for me is when i was soooooooooooo embarrassed and lost my confidence that i blushed even through the make up T_T my face like heated up and like melted the green away D: LMAO

I had never blushed by just talking to someone before, but for some reason I just started to at one point during HS @@ dont ask me I dont know how... I'd feel like the blush coming up from my neck and then my face would get warm. I eventually got over it cuz I was all like "What the hell??? Why do I suddenly just start blushing now when I talk to someone cute???"
You just have to not think about it, dont think oh god, I always blush at this time! If you feel the heat coming on your face, FIGHT IT! I know you have an urge to just kind of let it hit you and hope to get it over with, but dont instead of thinking "Oh god, I'm blushing, think what's there to blush about?"
Smiling also helps, cuz it gives you confidence and something else to think about it
On the flip side, I'm sure some guys out there think blushing is cute!

since for me it's social situations, i try to go into them prepared, like rehearse what i'm about to say and just slow down when i start talking too fast and the heat builds up. i haven't found any cosmetic fixes or anything. haha i don't really wear blush though.

Or worse. I notice even my arms gets red when I get really really embarassed.
I get embarassed of the smallest things!
*Sigh. and I get more red when they say "Omg. You're blushing! You're so red."
I also get red when like I read infront of the class. Haha.
Like I feel so hot in the face. Grr!
Or I dno .. sometimes .. I just have a blush on my face.
Like .. when its cold then suddenly I come into a hot room. It looks like I have blush-on.
I guess the best thing you can do is HIDE. LOL.
like hide behind your hands or behind your friend.
That's what I do ~

1. cut down on coffee/alcohol/tea
2. wear uv protection
3. don't eat spicy/high carb foods before socializing
4. If in a stuffy room, insist on opening window, switch off radiators, turn on fan or a/c
5. use a green cream for rosy complexion with your foundation
hope that helps! good luck.
