OTHER FACTS

- Meg and Dia are Korean-American, with the American half being speculated by Meg to be of German/Swedish descent. She says, "My dad is a white dude born and raised in Utah."
- 'Meg and Dia were playing as an acoustic duo. Then they decided to form a "band". That's when Ryan (ex-band member) and I joined. We changed it to The Meg & Dia Band so that people would know we were a full band and not an acoustic duo anymore.' - Nick

meg and dia are defnitely one of my favourite bands.
they're on the warped tour righ tnow aren't they?
i'm a bit fuzzy on the info about that, seeing as there's no warped tour down here in australia.
but some of my favourite meg and dia songs are definitely how much, setting up sunday, monster, my baby's better than yours and cardigan weather :]
hope you like them!

only reason i ever heard of them was because a high school acquaintance of mine was in their band for their "Something Real" album, but he left the band a little after the official release.

But didn't know they were part-korean.. cool.
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

My favorite from them is "Cardigan Weather" and they are AMAZING acoustic-live
Please don't forget me. { I'm going away. }
I'm taking a taxi to Kentucky where they don't even know all about me. I just need to feel s a f e.
I've got a thousand sweaters, and shoes, and paintings to hide the skeletons in my way.
But he said, "Slow down, slow down. Think it over, we've all got wretched closets, but silly girl pride kills more than Aids lately."
I said, "Come on, I thought it over. I don't wanna die here. I have no desire to get m♥rried."
Every night I pray for you, don't believe in heaven or that it could be a happy place.

Hey! Check this out – Meg & Dia (I love them)…are performing at a bunch of hot topic stores around the west, and tonight their in Arcadia, and tomorrow their in Irvine!! I am going to BOTH! I linked the other dates below. You just buy a shirt or album and you get to meet the band and see them perform!! ALSO, they are performing at THE STRAND w/ The Maine in Huntington Beach next weekend, Saturday 5/16. I am definitely hitting that up too!!

Here are the links for both:
