.net Messenger Service MSN help

i can't sign in MSN. and when i go to
tools>option>connection it says that i'm not
connected to .NET messenger service.
and my MSN messenger won't work. but i can sign in using a web messenger.
and i can't check my email either.
my MSN hasn't been working since like may. i tried to reinstall it
but it still doesn't work.
any one know why?

there isn't much magic we can do other than tell you to uninstall MSN messenger then reinstall it.
