so lately ive been having a little insomnia where it takes me several hours to fall asleep! and it frustrates me too much..
i kno i've heard that sleeping pills should be the last resort, but its been like weeks where its hard for me to fall asleep.
i'm wondering if any of you guys have taken sleeping pills before and if it works
i also hear there can be bad side effects from taking them~
just want to hear your opinions~*

I once had the same trouble as you. I couldn't sleep at all but I never took pills although I did get a prescription.
The doctor told me that it's ok to take it once in a while but it can become dangerous if you become dependant on it.
You have to be very careful because if you take too much, you could die of overdose.

i take simply sleep, its an OTC drug made by the makers of tylenol. its basically an allergy drug and it sorta helps me fall asleep quicker. according to my doctor, its non habit forming and is safe to take for extended periods of time although you might become psychologically dependent on it. i have also taken ambien, which is prescribed, and i can definitely say that this works a lot better. this stuff knocks you out! but my doctor said its highly addictive and should not be taken for extended periods of time.
