When you wash your face do you use hot or cold water? Do you know which is better for your face? someone told me it was good to use hot water before the soap, then cold water for the rinse after you rub the soap on your face.
I hope this isnt a stupid question lol

I use hot water when I wash my face, and then I rinse it again with cold water.

I usually wash my face with warm water, unless in Summer when I use cold.

Hot water opens up the pores. Cleanse.
Cold water closes the pores.
I wash my face with cold water.
Makes my face feel fresh,
and my face is firm.

I heard that the whole hot water/cold water affecting your pores is actually a myth. Hot steam opens your pores, but hot water doesn't really do anything. I use warm water... b'cuz it feels nice haha. I use masks and scrubs regularly to cleanse my pores, and I always have my toner to tighten them after cleansing.
