So there's this 2002 White Acura RSX beige leather interior. with 48,000 miles on it going for $10,000 dollars.
it' has a "salvaged title due to a side accident" (which i made a topic earlier about).
with the pictures i've seen. it looks in pretty good condition.
ya'll think it's worth 10k?

I'm pretty sure you can get a used 2002 for 11-12. IMO if you can find one thats clean, skip this one and get the clean one.

If it has a salvage title, then the value should be worth 50% thus it should be around $5,000. You have to really find out what is wrong with it to deserve a salvage title. This car is not worth $10,000. not even a chance. You can find a clean title for close to that price. Do the seller a favor and let him or her know that is way overvalued. Your best bet is to look somewhere else.

yes it could mean it has chassis damage (bent), flood damage, stolen vehicle..

some of the best deals can be salvage titled cars... but like others have said, it depends on how severe the accident was get such title... also find out when exactly the car was involved in the accident and for how many miles it has put on ever since. if it's been repaired at a trusted, reputable shop and the car has been running fine for quite some time, there shouldn't be much to worry about.

Base models in good condition, kbb valued at 12-13K. if you dont plan on getting full coverage insurance.... i say 10K is worth it. If its listed by the seller for 10K, you can bargain with him down to around 9.5K or so.

ya, for a salvage title i think thats way overpriced. I actually got my 04 base for 9k last year with a little bumper damage. Just replaced it and it was brand new

I believe that is quite expensive if compared to normal RSX's. Basically because having a salvage title gives the car a low resale price. If you plan on keeping the car for along time or forever I think it might be a deal. Though, only because 10k because it wasn't damage and doesn't look damaged. Just that if you ever do sell it, you might have problems in the long run.
