There was always a history of chest pain on my father's side, almost everyone from my dad's side suffers from it. So I was not surprised when I had my first chest pain 6-7 years back. After a few years of suffering from it, it went away. But just recently it came back again, and it is worse than ever. I started to have sharper pains for the past month, and this time around it hurted more near the heart area. I have never took any prescripted/non-prescripted medicine for it because when I went to the doctor back then, he told me medicine wasn't necessary (esp. back then I was too young). This time it hurted so badly, I actually had to take aspirin to calm it down.

Any suggestion? Or does anybody suffer from this also? Other than going to the doctor...sorry, I can't because of family's problems. I don't want to worry my parents (they are very sensitive about these stuff), know that I am suffering from it again will only worry them sick.

ah i had something similar but not as often as you descibed
the doctor told me i lacked calcium and zinc
and i think its the same thing
is it like a sharp sharp pain as if something like a long and thick needle stabbed you?
and my mom has it too but i think hers was also partly caused by a tumor, not cancerous though
you should also look into that possibility

yea i use to get those alot because i worked out my body to much. my heart wuz trying to pump it hardest but i kept pushing my body to the limit n i would get those sharp pains in my chest. well drink some orange juice or something that has alot of vitamis. i think that should help the pain out a little.

I feel a tingly sensation sometimes and it hurts like crazy.
I'd always squirm under the pain x______x
But I'm not sure what it is.

God, i always got it, i thought i was the only person in the world to get it, since my friends would look at me weirdly when i say my heart hurts haha.

my mom tells me to go to the doctor, but i thought it wasn't nessesary since the pain went away an hour later..

Yeah i have chest pain near the heart area once in a while..everytime it happens i go like " OH MY HEART..HURTS" then my cousin always turns to me and ask "ARE U ABOUT TO DIE?!! " but anyways...i dont even know why that happens..hehe..but it'll just go away in a few min.

yeah my heart doesn't neccesarily hurt,
but the chest area felt.. tingly and squeezy?
i dunno, but it usually goes away after a few mins.
i just think it's because i'm not getting the nutrients i need?
not sure though.

haah i thought i was the only too.. T-T it hurts a lot.. but once i relax and drink some water.. it ease away.. i think it might have to do with stress and body nutrients.. it feels like a needle poking into my heart.. T-T and feels like someone's fingers are poking into my heart.. @@

but then i realized i wasnt fat enough (even though you dont necessarily have to be fat)

i know what you are talking about.. i went to the doctor and turns out, i had acid reflux and she prescribed nexium for me along with pain killers.. if you can't get the prescription, otc medication zantac should work.. another advice from my doctor, stay aways from oily fried foods, sodas, citrus, anything spicy, and for some reason chocolate.. but my best advice would be to visit your family physician.

hey that kinda sounds serious.. I think I get chest pain too.. but it only lasts for a few seconds.. yours?? since you know that it's in your family history I'd be more worried.. I think you should check that out u kno.. I know your parents will be worried but their gonna be worried bout your health so you should do what ya can to stay healthy and keep your parents from worrying more ya??

I get them sometimes, My heart pounds very hard usually, and i can 'feel' the pounding ><..Usually when it does happen its very fast pounding.

I get them only because I have heart problems. I had to go to the doctor for it and now I have to get EKG's done every 3 months to make sure my heart is healthy. I was also born with a heart murmer so that on top of my heart problems makes things worse for me.

All I can say is you're going to have to go to the doctor because the doctor is the only one who can tell you exactly what is wrong and what you can do to help the pain go away.

i get this when i breathe in too much air
do some kind of work out thats with chest

it feels like my rib cage is gonna crack and
break open and sometimes its my heart that hurts

i never got it checked, never really had to

sharp pain? i get those when i watch korean dramas, when it gets really emotional/sad/sweet. im not kidding either... its literal pain. ><;; i usually drink water to help it go away.

I get these, too. But only for a few seconds. And it's usually when I work out too hard...

it might be angina...it's like pressure or a tight feeling in your chest.
whatever case it may be, i seriously recommend you go see your doctor, even if your parents do find out about it because it is your heart you are talking about

like out of nowhere your heart feels like its gonna rip and when you breathe in it feels like its gonna pop?
sounds weird but it happens to me all the time..freaks me out all the time too O=
