^Yeah, I can't wait to watch this as well. And since it stars Reece Thompson and Aaron Yoo (two people I really like), it makes the movie more interesting to watch.

^I'm seaching for some news and will edit my post later with updates.

Yeah, Reece hasn't been in a lot of things, although he has had a couple of background/extra roles in Smallville and Stargate: Atlantis. But based on this trailer alone, he seems to have some potential in being a great actor.

But I love it that Aaron Yoo is in here. I loved him in Disturbia. <3

SERIOUSLY
How can we be the only two that are excited for this MOVIE!
I don't think it will come out in theaters for me..
I am not sure if Independant Films show but I will still want to see this!
It seems to me that the cast is a great bunch of kids that are getting to be known

^I know, seriously! How are we the only people? I mean I thought this movie would've been more popular here on soompi. Guess not.

I'll try to find the locations that are showing this movie.

And this movie definitely has a cast that has a lot of potential - I hope they do good after the movie.

EDIT: *sighs* Sadly, I have bad news for you....from what I've seen, it's only showing in NY/LA/SF. But hopefully if it does well, it'll have a nationwide release? Ahh, I hope this won't stop you from coming to this thread. Although I'll keep posted and see if it'll ever have a wider release.

^From what I've seen, it's gotten pretty good reviews from rottentomatoes - and it also won an award for comedy (I think) from Sundance. So I think that accounts for something?

Blech. I live by LA but sadly, we had to visit some friends in Modesto which is some ways away from both SF and LA. I'll post a review by the time I watch it around next week.

^IMDb is somewhat reliable (but user generated, I believe), but I mostly go for rottentomatoes.

And I'll check out some updates to see if it'll [ever] get a wider release...or when it'll go on DVD.

EDIT:

Some reviews:

Cinematical: Rocket Science

Newsweek: Rocket Science

EDIT: Yay, based on this article: It's not Plainsboro, it's 'Rocket Science' it says that it'll go on wider release Aug. 17. I'll check if its accurate.

It's been released on DVD.

I honestly have to say it's my favorite indie movie that focuses on teenage angst. I actually liked this better than Juno, but it really depends on one's individual's taste since some have complained for its lack of a solid ending. But the movie itself is witty and definitely has some quirky characters.
