I remember this book. It is such a classic. It's interesting that they're going to make a movie on this. I loveeeeeee Anthony Hopkins. <3

its awesome...

I hated reading Beowulf, so I'm not looking forward to the movie. personally, I don't see how y'all liked it.

yeah i loved this book. but i'm kinda iffy about it being made into a movie...most of the times....that doesn't go too well ph34r.gif

I didn't like the story of this but i think i would be anticipating the movie.

Yeah, Beowulf and Grendel (which wasn't that great of a movie...)

IMAX 3d is running it uncensored.
The PG cut of the film will be screened at normal theaters.

At least that's what they intended.

seen this.

It's pretty good. The monsters are creepy.. disgusting looking!! eewl.

But im wondering if the ending of the movie is according to the poem? I have this impression there is gonna be a part 2 rolleyes.gif

I heard stardust is fantastic too. I wonder if it's better than this. Or maybe there shouldn't be any comparsion in the first place cuz it's different genre? rolleyes.gif

hehe i liked stardust too.
but yeah they're very different lol.
i think stardust appeals to girls more
i thought it was romantic, funny, and entertaining

I thought the movie was pretty decent...although the storyline was very predictable. It's been decade since I ever watched a 3-D movie...so it was very enjoyable for me. Angelina voice really sound sexy........

my english teacher gave my class a review about the movie since we all read the book in class together, and she gave us some 411 about the movie.

SPOILERS!!!!
angelina jolie plays grendel's mother, and it's like wth. if grendel was ugly, you wouldn't imagine his mother to be hot like angelina. lol and her role as grendel's mother ties into all three battles. for some reason, she's the mastermind or whatever.
you know how in the battle with grendel, beowulf fights with no armor/weapons? well, not only does he fight grendel without weapons, but without clothes. LMFAO. i know. weird.
i could be wrong, but this is all according to my english teacher, and i kinda hate her. XD
