(Topic title copied from Twiggy LOL =D)

Okay so I'm taking ACTs really soon and I'm not taking any prep classes or anything bc they're SO expensive around my area.
I bought those huge books and I'm reviewing them.......sometimes. (I get distracted so easily UGH)

I want ATLEAST a 30 on my first try... but its so hard to get out of the 20's on my practice tests T__T

Sooooo, share everyone! smile.gif

love.

On practice tests I've gotten like 27 composite (it's like 33 Eng, 30 math, don't remember the other 2... just that science was..... terrible XD) ... science part is a killer I swear... I'm probably not going to take it though... that science part is so hard to get in time.. you feel you have to rush and screw up =<

Thankfully I have the SAT *whew

I got a 24 for the first time and then took it again six months later and got a 29. I'm taking it again in October, hopefully I'll get a 30 or 31!

34 without prep. And then after studying to get a higher score, I actually got a lower score. Once you get over a 32, it's hard to get that extra point or two since the ACTs are on a bell curve. My friend jumped from a 19 to a 29, so even if you get a bad score the first time, dont stress.

Just work on finishing each section in the given time. Most people can answer all the questions, just not in 35 minutes. A lot of people at my school during PSAE testing walked out and were like "omggg i left half of the math questions blank!!!"

please do not PM me asking me to close threads, etc! i am no longer a mod! ^^ thanks!

i heard from one of my teachers
that you should take a little time
to just fill in B for the questions you have left
b/c your bound to get one right or something... mellow.gif
