Over the past few weeks i've been trying to get rid of most of my blackheads on my nose by using one of those blackhead extractor tools.. big mistake >_<". Now my nose area is all red and it won't go away! And still the blackheads keep coming back so i need to use the tool again to get rid of the blackheads.. so it's like a vicious cycle lol.. then I need to cover up my nose with some tinted moisturizer or else it looks horrible.
Is there anything that i can apply to get rid of the redness? Like some sort of cream or lotion to make my nose the same color as before?
any help would be great, ty

I usually put a little bit of vaseline on my nose when its red. It's usually back to normal the next morning. I'm not sure if that will clog your pores and cause even MORE black heads though
.
Foundation also does a good job of covering up the redness when I'm going out.

I was getting my makeup done at a makeup counter once and the SA was putting foundation on me...as she put it on around my nose (where it meets the face), she said something along the lines of putting extra on there because girls were "blessed" with redness there hahaha

When I get redness on my face, I usually apply this blemish liquid from avon which causes the redness to calm down. You should stop using the extractor. It not good to use it excessively. You could damage your skin with it. Alternatively buy an exfoliating facial scrub which you use twice a week to clean the pores out. And use a Nose strip!

Try a green concealer to counteract the redness (it's color-correcting).
Everyday Minerals http://www.everydayminerals.com makes a good one called the Mint Concealer, but you could find something at any drugstore. I think Physicians Formula has a color correcting concealer palette.

maybe it's an allergic reaction? to the tool u're using
but when my nose gets red, i don't usually put on make up cos it'll get worse
my suggestion is that after u remove ur blackheads, slap on lots of moisture to calm it down
maybe ur nose jus lacks moisture thats why it turns red

i use that.
its pretty normal for that to happen when using tools. Just clean off your nose, and let it calm down. kinda like if you pinch yourself. itll be red for awhile but after some time, it'll die down
