Ok. So I am normally a skinny girl. I'm around 5'3 and weigh 100 lbs.
Recently I came here to Korea and I ate a lot..
not A LOOOOOOOOT but more than I'd usually eat.
One day I looked in the mirror after I took a shower and I saw very visible white lines on both sides of my butt!!!!!!!!
I was in shock because I NEVER had them ever in my life.
But I don't know if it's because I gained weight because there's no difference in my arms or legs..
usually if I get fat then shouldn't my arms and legs look fatter??

Why did I get them??????? How can I make them go away?? T.T cuz I heard they can never go away TT__TT

Make sure your skin is moisturised at all times to prevent further marks in the future. For the current ones, there's nothing much you can do.

Stretch marks don't appear overnight as white...do they?
Theyre usually red, then turn white with time...

coco butter/vit E/Bio oil

vit E takes a lot longer for me personally(prob the cheapest, just poke a hole the capsule vit E that u would normally eat and rub it over)
i've never used cocobutter, but my friend has, and she has gotten pretty good results
i heard bio oil is pretty good too, but it makes some ppl break out.

Thats correct they start out as red and after you've had them for a while they go white.

Stretch marks are mostly caused by weight gain or growth because it's stretching out the skin.

I remember when I first got them TT_TT...I was in fifth grade; I had such a huge growth spurt, and I gained a few pounds (I was extremely skinny and had to eat medicine to gain weight). So maybe you grew a bit ...? Anyway, as everyone has already recommended, use cocoa butter. It won't get rid of them but it may help! I've tried using it but it didn't help me too much... sad.gif Hopefully it works for you!

when you first get stretch marks, they're usually red. maybe you've had them for a while and not noticed? i gained stretch marks because i lost too much weight in a little amount of time. =? weight gain/loss SUCKS. use coco butter, you have to put it on regularly though.

Most girls get stretch marks, it sucks but it happens. I got most of mine around puberty, so I didn't know to moisturize and stuff to prevent them. I didn't even really know what they were back then.

I heard bio oil helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks but I don't know if it'll work when they've already turned white. I have white ones too and I was going to buy some anyway to try. I know they won't go away but maybe it'll make them less visible or smooth them out a little or something.
There was nothing to fear,

i have them too. there so annoying that i dont wear a bathing suite without shorts over it :@
i started to get mine when i was in grade six. i got sick from drinking orange juice or something and lost 10 pounds in 3 days. when i got better i gained about 15 pounds. >_<
ive also heard that red strech marks means that you've gained weight fast and white ones are when you lose weight fast, but not rilly sure if its truee.
thx for the advice too.

#$@#!@$#%@# stretch marks are evil. i have them all over the side of my thighs, so there goes wearing shorts for me. =T
unfortunately cocoa butter doesn't work too well for me, and i can't get my hands on bio-oil.
i wonder if the dermatologists would have anything better to suggest. maybe you should go to one?

I've had Stretch Marks on my body for years. It's normal for women to get them..it's mostly from
growing too fast or losing weight too fast. You can try Vitamin E which might help but it won't make your skin mark-free... you'll have to
see a doctor probably if you want to remove them completely ^^;
