The Forbidden Kingdom is a film collaboration between Jackie Chan and Jet Li, with action choreography by Yuen Woo-ping. The film is currently in production as of July 11, 2007. As of April 2007 the film is officially titled The Forbidden Kingdom, before it had been often referred to as The J & J Project.

Plot
The plot is currently unconfirmed but rumor has it that The Forbidden Kingdom is about a New York teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and also classic Kung Fu movies. One day the Kid makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: The legendary Ru Yi Bang staff of the Chinese sage and warrior, Sun Wukong the Monkey King. With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself traveling back to ancient China to learn the true meaning of kung fu and then join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Sun Wukong.

lol just to let everyone know. they story is basically about this kid who find's that power pole that the monkey king has in a shop. he takes and gets teleported to the old old days where the monkey king is around. basically the whole plot is to save the monkey king, who is jet li and jackie chan is the big dumb guy haha

hahazzz lolz. i actually liked the myth. i think it was back in 2005? i was supposed to be having this major exam... but i spent the whole night watching the myth like 2 or 3 times. i thought it was good^^
