i bought my m3 about 8-9 months ago so it's fairly new. I had it parked and some truck/car ran into it and drove off! i didn't know about it until one of my co-workers told me my car got hit! The estimated damage over $13,600 USD. Luckily i am insured so i only have to pay my deductable but still! i'm pissed!
title edited

I didn't have the opportunity to take pics while it was trashed cuz my insurance agent just towed the car without me being there. But here are some pics i finally got to put up. these were taken after the accident.

ahhh that sucks, that's happened to my sister's car before when her and her friends went to six flags! some person hit them and ran off before they came back.
isn't the person who hit you supposed to leave their contact number on the windshield or something?

yeah, but
people run off because they don't want to be responsible for the damage, because that means they have to spend money to fix it,
or if use the insurance to cover it, the insurance company later will increase their insurance rate.

yes this does suck. i still didn't get my car back yet. it's been around a month.

i heard it is illegal to hit n run and not leave your contact number. however, there was

none in my case. right now, i'm just praying my car is back to normal. but i'm not

that worried, kinda eyeing that new m3. looks nice.

that does suck big time. I'd be so mad.

Insurance will cover it and your car will be back to normal... but just knowing the fact that it was messed up and parts were replaced sucks. Plus I think it goes on your car's record so that sucks big time too.

Hit n Runs are horrible. The truck driver probably ran into it and saw it was a new BMW so he ran off because he didn't wanna pay big $$$. mad.gif

i finally got my car back. there was alot of hell because the auto place said i had to pay extra for the rent a car because
the insurance would only cover a month (it took 13 days over a month). i had to pay $360 extra plus $300 for a little damages to the rent a car.

i got sooo mad because they didn't tell me anything until when the car was ready and they said i had to pay that amount.
is that legal? my insurance agent just told me to pay it off so i just did. i'm so bitter tho. they should've told me that
before the 30 days was over so i can decide to turn in the car before or not. urgggggg

LOL. My thoughts exactly. Maybe he should've surrounded his car with a metallic wall so it'd be "safer" yah? dry.gif

Wow that sucks. I know how you feel. I got into an accident(my fault) with my almost new car and they fully repaired it but I don't feel the same anymore. Not to mention that the autoshop did a sh*tty job and I hear some weird noise from the front every once in a while. I can't even fix it because when I showed it to them, they said they need to see the problem in order for them to fix it. So I just wait until that f*****g thing break, whatever it is...

insurance made you pay the deductable? That sucks. Mine said that because it was a hit and run and it wasnt my fault - they covered the deductable and my premium went down the when renewal time came around - I was thinking that it would go up.
