Sooo, for those of you guys who have astigmatism and wear contacts, what brand of contacts do you wear?
I use Acuvue for Astigmatism but I don't like how it's so thick, so I'm going to ask my optometrist if I can switch to another brand.

Bausch & Lomb in toric. It's really thin compared to the others I've tried. I hate having astigmatism; contacts cost more for me.

^ OMFG $400?! O_O That's so much...I have astigmatism but my lenses are no where near that much. I wear Bausch and Lomb PureVision Toric. I don't recommend you getting these; they're really thick. If you have a Costco nearby, you should definitely get your contacts there. I think I got mine for about $50? I am not sure, but they were definitely less than $100.

i have astigmatism and my eye doctor prescribed bausch and lomb softlens toric for me. they're really nice =) you hardly feel em!

mine were around.. 275? for like a full year i think. maybe 200. i forgot. i just remember color lenses were goin to be really expensive so i didnt get them.

i have astigmatism only on one eye =x lol but my vision is really bad erm i use biomedics toric lenses

I use Focus Torics (they're monthlys). Yea Costco is incredibly cheap! It's almost 50% cheaper than online places. I think 1 box of mine (6 contacts, half a year's supply) cost about $70.

i know right! i was like WT .. ? well i only have have it in one of my eyes which i think should make it cheaper right? weird. my mom was like " you should just get really nice glasses if that's how much they're gonna cost. " lol xD

I use the Vertex Toric contact lenses, I get them for $60 for a 6 month a supply at $30 a box.

i use SofLens Toric (SofLens 66 Toric). They are 1-2 week disposable soft contact lenses for astigmatism

I use Coopervision Toric. I got them at Costco as well but I don't remember the price. They're monthlys btw. I think they're ok, but my eyes do dry up rather quickly.

O_O If you have astigmatism you have to get toric lenses or your astigmatism is going to get worse. Your optometrist is suppose to only give you a prescription for toric lenses if you have astigmatism.

wow, that was my exact same situation.
(except my contacts cost around .. err $180? can't remember).
i do believe i was using the same brand as you though.
my problem was that they dried out so fast; i kept running out of eyedrops -___-;;
i wanted colored lenses too but my doctor said,
"that's going to be reaaaally expensive .. so i don't think you should .."

I actually find Acuvue for Astigmatism to be very thin compared to the ones I used to wear (B&L Soflens 66). They don't dry up like Soflens did and I often forget that I'm wearing contacts.

definitely get acuve oasis. i switched to it 1/2 yr ago because my eyes were really dry and itchy from the acuve advanced i was wearing. it turned out i had astigmatism and the eye doctor switched me the oasis. now, i dont even feel like im wearing contacts

i used to use bausch and lomb softlens toric 66 (2 weeks disposable ones) but now i use 1 day acuvue for astigmatism. the acuvue one costs a lot more though.
