According to E! Online senior editor Marc Malkin, who first repored the nuptial news, while the ceremony took place at Martin's Los Angeles home, guests of the big day were not informed ahead of time that they would be witnessing a union and were told only that their presence was requested for an intimate dinner party at the comic's abode.

There's no word on when the 61-year-old Martin first popped the question to the 35-year-old former New Yorker and current Vogue writer, though the duo first started dating in December 2002.
