she's young,rich,talented and versatile. when she goes on stage to perform, my eyes will be glued to the screen. she just have this mass appeal factor and when she starts singing and dancing, it seemed to flow so well and nicely with great stamina and fluidity..and it just blast me off. her "WOW" factor is absent in some female singers (or wannabes) in the markets

What Do I Like About BoA?

That's one hard question, but I'm going to try answer it with all that I can.



I like BoA because she's one talented singer and dancer.





But no... that's not why I like her the most.





I like BoA the most... because... despite all the criticisms she had all throughout this years, she's still that bubbly person that we fans always see. Despite all the comments of others that she is lacking, she still works hard and tries to please them. Despite all her antis, she still persues her dreams. Despite all the negativity, she still goes on.

I like her because she's not only a symbol of talent and beauty, but she's also a symbol of perseverance to me.
I think to myself, "Hey, if BoA can go on... why can't I?"

She's such an inspiration.

first of all, we all know how talented BoA is... even the ANTIs can't argue with that. but come to think of it, there are so many talented PERFORMERS out there! but why BoA? personally, i think that BoA is not just some performer...she's an ARTIST! (ok...the next line's are going to be a little...cheesy...but heck!) my art prefessor's favorite quote (yeah, I'm taking up Fine arts) - "A man who works with his hands is a LABORER; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a CRAFTSMAN; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an ARTIST." - yeah..i know...a bit right? i think BoA's an ARTIST 'cuz she puts her everything in what she does. she's not performing for the sake of performing . she does not complain, even though we know she's having a hard time....she LOVES what she's doing...not many PERFORMERS are like that.

She is soo beautiful, her beauty is indescribable! You can't describe her beauty in words~ Its simply too stunning~ And she is so versatile with her beauty as well! I can't believe BoA can look sooo good in any way she wants to. For example, she can be a punk chick and still look so beautiful, she can be a elegant lady she can look like a shining angel~ Wow, simply... BoA is a very very beautiful young woman~
Her talent is just..WOW...amazing!!! Her dance skill is arguably among the best in entire asia... her singing ability is just... wow... its soo refined and developed, her live ballads never have mistakes, she never loses her breathe, and her voice is so so powerful at the same time, so soothing and beautiful~ Her singing/vocal abilities are also among the best in Asia.. and for her age..20..wow... I mean its just so serene and powerful, BoA's singing is near perfection! Her dancing is simply stunning, she never makes mistakes, her dancing is perfect, anyone could take her dance skill and look good with it, thats simply how perfect it is refined. Also, BoA's live performance abilities are also...out of this world! She can sing and dance so good, no matter what the choreography~
BoA is even soooo young, SO YOUNG... for all the earnings she has made, all the achievements she has made, she is one of the very best And no one can deny it because this is not only my opinion it is the truth, and if you cant accept the truth thats your problem. BoA has achieved soooo much for her age, I mean she has achieved out of the dimension, so many awards, so many fans, everything, and she has her amazing talent to make up for it, BoA is simply amazing. BoA is also very cute, and has a great personality~ She never bes someone she is not on stage, and she always tries her hardest. BoA always works to the best of her ability when she is trianing and practising so when the time comes she does her all to impress her fans. BoA doesnt slack off or go the 'easy way', she is hardworking and puts her heart into everything she does, so she can maintain her position in the industry and impress her fans all around the world~ BoA never complains about hardship or difficulty, she just lets life move on, she doesn't dwell around in hard situations, she does what is required and does it her best. Even with antis and everything, BoA keeps her strong self and doesnt give in.
I love her for that, becuase it makes me want to do my hardest as well, BoA has helped me achieve so much in my life, simply I cant express my love for her in words!
And instead of being an ordinary fan who only likes the artists for a while and lose interest but they take a break, my love for BoA is always continually growing and my love for her will never end. Even when I die I will still love her~ She has done so much for me~ I wish I could do the same for her and help BoA... but I can't, so I will continue to support her indirectly, and I will never stop.
I bet BoA's antis dont know what they are doing with their life~ they must rethink their lives one day and stop wasting their time. I mean sometimes there is a reasonable excuse for being an anti for a while, but being an BoA anti is just simply atrocious. You need to stop right here and rethink your life. I also love BoA because when I mentioned she has done a lot for me, BoA is actually my biggest inspiration. Not michael jackson, not usher, not anyone, it is BoA. Even though I'm a male. BoA help me pursue my studies and dance lessons because she makes me want to work harder because in the end its not for anyones benefit but YOURS. So if you work YOUR hardest in the end you get something out of it. So I have worked very hard these few years I've been a fan~ I scored very high in my high school certificate, I finished my piano diploma, my dance ability has improved a very very great deal, and I have found a new home and a new job, and all of that, I'm only 20.. And who did it for me, it was BoA~ if it werent for BoA i would be still slacking off with video games, but BoA was always there for me and pushed the pedal in my life and started working harder, thats why I love her for that as well~ BoA is such a great inspiration~ If it werent for BoA I wouldnt be the person I'am now.

I was gonna write an essay on why I like BoA but you got there before me BoA*SarangHae lol

Anyways I'll just make this short, no essay.

Why I like BoA?
I like BoA for many reasons in which I can not explain. She is young, beautiful, amazingly talented and is a true inspiration to me. What makes me love BoA the most is her perseverance and hard work. Even when she is injured or tired she's very professional in what she does and goes on with it.
Unlike some stars, BoA doesn't complain that she didn't have a childhood or was homesick, she has so much passion in what she does and has many times mention that she loves what she do and this is shown through her accomplish thus far, which is something equivalent to that of a 25-30 year old.

Regardless of what other people say about her I know she appreciate us fans very much and isn't faking it, she's a hard worker. For example, when she hurt her ankle during the time of A-Nation 2006 she went on with the performances regardless of her pain. And on mkmf 2005 she stayed up til 4am practicing to give her fans the best performance and she did not disappoint. She fainted soon after the performance due to chest pains, anyone can admire this.

I also love how she is a superstar but still has human characteristics. She cries, laugh, and gets moody like we all do. If she really is cold like some say, then Im glad because I know at least she's not one of those stars who act nice and fake all the time. She may have had some bad moments but Iv'e watch so many videos where she has been such a cutie and sweetheart. For example, a fan was so excited to see BoA that she cried, BoA was so sweet to wipe the fan's tears with a towel. And when fans sang Meri Kuri to BoA on a special concert she was so touched that she cried. I was so touched by BoA that I wanted to cry.

The most obvious reason why anyone would like BoA is her singing and dancing. She is one of the very few artist who can sing and dance at the same time live. To me, her singing is just beautiful especially when she sing ballads. Her dancing is just great to watch, I really wish that I could dance like her. She improve so much through out the years. Im glad that BoA try out new stlyes, musically and visually. Im almost never bored listening to her.

Another reason why I like BoA is that she is very beautiful. Her hair has so much volume and is very stylish. BoA is my model for beautiful hair.
One of the best features about BoA is her dimples. Their just so cute, she wouldn't be the same without them.

Overall, BoA is just BoA and no one can replace her and I will always support her for years to come.

Goodness, I don't even know where to start!
When I was into kpop I was into h.o.t, finkl and sechkies etc etc. Then BoA appears out of the blue. She was only a year older than me and she was performing. Immediately I became her fan, because she was only a year older than me and she was out there in the music world doing her thing. I remember sitting there in front of the TV watching her debut performance, I was so jealous of her! I lost interest when she performed don't start now- sara.. because I was boycrazed and went for boygroups. Then she came back out with that amazing HIT SONG~ No.1! OMG, that was the peak of her popularity. EVERYBODY was talking about her, everybody wanted her straight blond hair, everybody said she was copying britney spears by showing her belly, everybody was just interested in her because she was so young and had a hit song. From then on even though I didn't pay attention to her every performance (like I do now), I considered her my favorite female artist.

I still look up to her because she is living her dream.And I envy her cause she is living her dream. I, myself don't even know what I want to be yet, Im still at the confused state which is bad since I need to pick my major next year. But thats why I look up to her. At a very young age she realized what she wanted to be, she had such determination, no wonder Lee soo man picked her out. He probably sees what we all see as fans, her hard working ethics, her passion, her drive to be a singer.

She has anti fans, no doubt about that. It upsets me because they don't see what we see in her. They just pick at everything. They don't see how hard she works. She is such an easy target because she isn't the prettiest, and best vocalist out there. It's true, she isn't the BEST OF BEST. Thats because there is no such thing. All the singers out there are lacking in one side or the other. If they are gorgeous&canreallysing, they don't have that charismatic charm to draw enough fanpower& interest. That's where Boa comes in, she can dance, she can sing, she's pretty, she has that charisma, she is the one & only BoA. That is why people hate her and love her. So many singers look up to her because she is the total package. She has accomplished so much. Shes the only one that made it BIG and lasted so LONG in the Japanese Industry. So what if she doesn't stay #1 on the charts, atleast shes there and stays there with consistency.And for someone who doesn't have a single drop of Japanese blood in them, shes doing one hell of a job.

Shes a true professional. Regardless of her physical state she goes on with the show and performs. It amazes me how strong this young woman really is. It kind of makes you wonder about her mental state of mind. How is she so stable with all that stress&chaos around her? She grew up in front of thousands and millions of people. Compared to the childstars in the US that turn to drugs-alcohol, shes doing quite a brilliant job, don't you think?

Kpop now a days.... you can tell boys-males have it better. Most of the fans are girls. Yet with every new album she comes out with she manages to have a #1 song. She influences many people with her different styles.



Shes going to stick around in this business whether antifans like or not.

Shes accomplished so much at such a young age. (as said by manymanyyyyyyyyyyyyy fellow peers+stars+singers)

No one replace her.

There will never be a BoA#2 because everybody has to stay true to themselves and of course entertainment companies are going to train harder and pick more sensational girls. THere might be someone who can sing better than her and be prettier than her but that doesn't mean she can beat BoA. Because BOA is in her own field.. shes in her own category.... no one can touch her, no one can come close to her.

Shes an inspiration to many.
Shes one of the legends now, shes already an idol, shes already a popstar.. and she is a true star.

What do I like about BoA?

Gee why do I like about BoA? Well...:

1. Without BoA I wouldn't have known about Kpop or Jpop.
Since I watched anime a lot in the past, I fell In love with anime music and when my friend reccomended me BoA, I went to check it out. The first song I download was "No.1" and this song blew me away. I didn't release that this song was Korean. I never heard of Korean music before and I fell in love with it. BoA's music rocked my playlist and I always listen to her 24/7. Even though I listen to BoA, I try my best to not be biased and look into other korean artists. I instantly fell in love with other artists, but thats not the point. Without BoA, I wouldn't enjoy Korean music.

2. Which korean female artist can dance better then BoA? NO ONE.
When I saw her dance moves on "ID PEACE B" and "SARA" I was shocked. For a 13 year old girl dancing like that, it blew me away. This is what I like about her, she could sing and dance at the same time. PERFECTLY. This girl rocked the house ^^. Since I'm a hiphop dancer as well I enjoy BoA's dance routine and I would try my best to learn them.

3. Vocal wise
Her voice is beautiful. I love her voice so much and it sticks out a lot ^^. If i turn on the radio and hear her songs, I would knew instantly it would be her because her voice stands out in the crowd. Her beautiful performance "Moon and Sunrise (sp?)" made me appreciate her vocals sooo much. I know that even until now, BoA will still be on the top *hence* GIRLS ON TOP!!!

4. Personality.
Come on who can not like a girl who has a nice personality and friends with Hyori and Younha, right? This make me like BoA more knowing that she isn't rivals with Hyori and Younha. BoA considers Hyori as her Unnie...and BoA considers Younha a great artists who is very talented in playing the piano. BoA a sweet girl who even helped Younha fight off her nerves when Younha was getting ready to perform in Japan and when she helped Yunho on something in the airplane. BoA is a sweet girl with a kind heart. She can be emotional when her fans sing her song and she can also be moody feeling that when she is in a rush she accidently ignore her fans' calling out for her. Her personality in MV when shes happy or when she is sad in concerts shows still makes me love her evenmore.

5. Inspiration, Role-model, and soon-to-be FUTURE korean and Japanese female artist legend.
BoA (don't bash on me my opinion) is one of the first female korean artist who debut in Japan and making it big. Even though there are several korean artists that made it big in Korea and are trying to take over Japan they won't reach the same popularity level as BoA. When she first debut in Japan, I remember she got all those evil stares from those japanese reporters saying that she won't make it, and how she missed her hometown. This shows that she has a kind heart and misses home. BoA fought everything and work hard to reach her popularity in both korea and japan. She probobly sleeps less then 24 hours trying to impress both her Japanese and Korean fans by flying instantly back and forth releasing albums and singles...still reaching in the top. She is the most hardworking artist that I ever known and she deserves every penny she got.

This is what I like, adore, and love about BoA...she is indeed my "no.1"

What do I like about BoA?

oh, man. i read everyone else's responses so far and it felt like my heart will burst.
to read all the good things about BoA, and now to share my own feelings.
i hope i can fit everything i want to say... there is a lot, so i might forget. XD


BoA is one of the first female artists to catch my attention. At first, I didn't really like her songs much and I had only noticed her because she was super pretty, but because I wanted to know more about her, I decided to try her music out. I ended up liking a lot of it, actually, and then from there I went on to watching her on shows and watching her performances. Usually I'm not one to enjoy performances, but when BoA performs, I can't tear my eyes away from the screen. She really has this stage presence that is undeniable.

I've heard that she's not exactly the friendliest person, but you know what? I don't hold that against her. After all, she's not perfect, and she knows that. She just wants to try her best but I think she has a passion for what she does, and she'd never want to disappoint her fans -- so she works hard. True, any artist can work hard, but seriously look at what she's done. I'm not talking about topping charts or anything like that. I think the bridge that she's helped drawn between Asian countries has impacted a lot of what all of us know today. She might not have been the first Korean artist to start doing activities in Japan, but it is no doubt that she is the most successful. She's said that performing in the two countries are very similar, but I can't imagine what it must have felt like when she was growing up, away from her parents, in a different country, learning a different language, to be fluent, to be successful, to appear to an audience who might fully reject her.

But she still made it through. She really showed that it's okay for music to cross over. And I think she's very real in her interviews and making of's, and whatever other film she's been in. She can be cute, she can be dorky, but you can tell she is dedicated. And while she's had many antifans, she's still here. I can't think of any other artist who's had as many antis as her, simply because most of her activities are in Japan now. And as a solo and female artist, even. She grew up in the limelight, not with a normal childhood -- instead one with intense training. But it's obvious she really wanted to do it, otherwise she wouldn't have stuck to it.

Some say her popularity is going down, that they are used to the cute little BoA, but let's face it: BoA is growing just like any other person. It's inevitable, but I think it's a good thing. I like to think that as fans, we are growing with her. We have been watching her, and through everything, we are still here for her. That's what being a fan is all about. Despite anything that happens, I will support her. Not because she's perfect, or the best singer, or the best dancer, or the best person (which she is none of those things), but because she deserves it. Of course, in my opinion she is a great singer and dancer, but I think beneath that -- the heart of BoA is what makes us all fans. When I see her smile, I smile too. When I hear her sing, I sing along. When I see her laugh, I laugh right along with her.

I still get that feeling when I watch her talk or perform, wondering if I can have that kind of affect on people. And that's what truly keeps me going, that keeps me a fan, and hoping that someday I will have some sort of impact on someone like BoA has had on me.
