That X-factor makes her different from all of the 2nd BoAs; they could find better singers or better dancers, but BoA has that X-factor and she can't be replaced.

Anyway, as long as BoA is happy with the quality of her music, then the sales shouldn't matter to her. I mean, even though I'm sure she'd like her fans to love her songs, she should be completely happy with the kind of music she's doing.

If you pre-order both BoA the Live and BoA COMPLETE CLIPS 2004-2006 by March 5th, then you get a "special, limited edition poster", which I will never get since I don't have a credit card. They're both region 2 though, hehe; I noticed that it'd be relevant info for a couple of you. I think mine plays all regions; I bought the History of BoA DVDs and they played fine. I totally envy any of you who have already pre-ordered these because I want them badly. o_o They're a must-have for me, and I intend to get them one way or another.

I don't think BoA will have a Korean album until maybe near the end of summer, and that's only if she heads straight back to Korea after the arena tour. Gosh, I can't wait. x3 New songs, new dances, new performances, new look. If it's really true, then Squeak should be helping out with her new album, right? And they're already working on new songs for it, so... she'll just need to record them.

SM should have decided what her acting 'project' shes going to do since they said they would decide it by the end of FEB.
as for her korean album... i think there might be a chance there will be one in july-august. but IF she acts then i think we will have to wait... I think she should take it slow with acting. crossing over to acting is really hard. there are a lot of successful outcomes for some gasoo-turned-actors-actresses but you know they are going to be rough on BoA...well... just because she is BoA. Plus there are lots of cliche dramas so she needs a original plot-storyline.

there are rumors at bestiz saying shes SOMEWHAT of a canidate for a 'historical~ish' drama
other canidates are hyunbin and moongeunyoung. but ive read an article that Hyunbin is going to be in another drama. So everyone kind of brushed this rumor off. cause its a groundless rumor plus BoA acting in a historical based drama would be weird and super hard on her for her debut as an actress.

I'm surprised there isn't a bigger fan base for BoA in Soompi. BoA was what got me into J/K-Pop and I'll always listen to her music.
I hope she doesn't fizzle out of the music scene as she breaks through the acting world. That's kind of what happened with Eugene, I loved her albums and now she's all about dramas/movies. Then again, I don't follow up with her much, so correct me if I'm wrong.

On another note, shelooks really cute in those pictures, thanks for posting Astarael.

^i'm so pumped for her acting debut. i totally get what you're saying about everyone being hard on her since she's BoA...but i really think she'll do well. i hope SM chose a really good script for her. she mentioned that she didn't really want to do any typical romantic comedy roles didn't she? really, if her debut goes well, and her acting is accepted, it'll be another BoA craze...since it died down somewhat after her peak in 2002. historical dramas are so hard, especially for an acting debut. i think it's a good time for her to act...she's done lots for music in the past 6/7 years...so much that there's really not much else for her to try (she's done cute, sexy, powerful, ballads). i don't really know where i'm going with this post. i'm just excited for her acting. i was really impressed with that brief crying scene she did in the KoH mv. it was really alot better than i had anticipated.

imagine if she had accepted the Goong script in the first place. her career would look so different right now, wouldn't it?

Her crying scene in KOH impressed me also.

i wasn't really impressed with Goong either, but it was really successful, so it would've really changed her career, IMO. i'm glad she waited for a hopefully awesome script though. i think YEH's kind of put in that "cutesy" category now after Goong, and she'll keep getting offered those types of roles. i wonder if her debut script was decided by the time she had the Made in BoA concert. maybe (hopefully?) she was giving a hint as to what role she's going to take^^; how long do dramas usually take to film? if she's going to release a Korean album...a drama...and continue with her neverending Japanese singles...then it's gonna be a crazy year for her.

I think GOONG's a little 'Mediocre' for BoA (Goong fans please don't kill me!) I think LSMs already have something in mind something that's BIG yet not to BIG for her and yeah, just like what Suejin said, BoA seems to have a liking for Serious and somewhat tragic type-dramas (haha! reminds me of Ahren's 'Conditions' if BoA is to be casted in a drama...sorry, but it seems like BoA's got a knack for tragic roles! kidding ) and I'm pretty glad about that too. but its still cool if she's going to be one of those cutesy types!

i seriously can't wait for her to act! BoA mania's going to be ON again!! she'll be even more famous!! but please BoA, take it easy ok? we wouldn't want you getting sick and all
