[undiscovered]

Okay, so I got this weird msn spyware virus type thing. When I talk to people this thing shows up "@[fwpscript]Version:01.03.02.0..." (it is longer) I want to know what exactly is spyware? Can it get my information? I went to sites and got adware and antivirus and deleted all of the viruses and such but the thing is this mysterious new email is adding all my friends and i'm thinking maybe the person who sent this virus to me got all my contact information and my password to my msn and such, and is using my friend's email and adding all of them and messing around with them. Is this possible? please help, I am clueless about comptuers. Please tell me what spyware really does...
