Oh and if you know anyone else, even if they're not a soompier, that might be interested, ask them too. Thanks.

Passing:
1. I think fumble lost by the passer should also be deducted 1 point. A lot of times when QB get sacked, they lost the ball and turned it over.
Rushing:
1. 1 extra point when total Rushing Yards is greater than or equal to 150
Shouldn't it be 100 yards? Usually that's what we measuring stick as a great/good performance: 300 yds passing / 100 yards rushing / 100 yards receiving. But then a lot of leagues use 1 point per 15 yards rushing, and this league uses 10 yards, so I am fine if it stays this way.
2. -1 point for every Fumble
If it is not lost (own recovery or teammates recovery) I think it shouldn't be deducted.
Receiving:
1. See (1.) on rushing.
2. See (1.) on passing.
3. Defense:
1. 10 extra points when total Points Allowed is exactly 0
Can we also award some points when total points allowed is less than 10/15/20?
As for the draft date, it better not be the same as the other 2 soompi leagues, and it will be good for late August draft date so we can watch a few pre-season games first. No one wants to draft an important player who gets injuried in the pre-season.
3 keepers are okay.

Whats everyone else think about these scoring changes?

Hm well.. I think if you fumble it should be negative points as a fumble is a fumble.
I agree with defense too, since there are barely ever shutouts, however the rest seems fine.

I've usually seen around 125-150 for rushing and receiving and 300 for passing. And sometimes 300 yds rushing or receiving would receive another point. I don't really like the idea of 100 yards total being it since it's actually not that hard for a lot of RBs to get that in a game. But what we put it at depends on what everyone else thinks also. We can also take it out completely if wanted.
If it is not lost (own recovery or teammates recovery) I think it shouldn't be deducted.
Lost fumbles by anyone in ALL position are -2 since its -1 for the fumble and another -1 for losing it also. But if someone fumbles but it is recovered by the same team it's only -1. That's what you want right? I don't understand what you said completely.

I added these to the scoring rules...
8 extra points when total Points Allowed is less than or equal to 6
6 extra points when total Points Allowed is less than or equal to 12
4 extra points when total Points Allowed is less than or equal to 18
I thought 10, 15, 20 were awkward scores so i went by 3's instead. I was going to add one for 24 or less but 24 shouldn't be awarded at all in my opinion.
I also changed sacks by your def to +1 each instead of +2 because having it equal to an interception by your def is absurd in my opinion because a turnover is worth much more compared to a measley sack. I also changed fumble forced by your def from +2 to +1 and kept fumble recovered by your def at +1 so forcing a fumble and recovering it would allow +2 to a def's score. I also lowered +4 for safeties to +2.
If you have any opinion on these also please say so.
3 keepers are okay.
What are the draft dates and time for all of the other soompi leagues?
Also, would you guys like 10 or 12 players? We currently have 7 and the max is currently set at 12, I can cap it at 10 if desired or raise it if needed, but I doubt we would be able to get more than 12.

What I mean is that if the fumble does not create a turnover (recovered by the fumbled player or his teammates or the ball going out of bounce), then fewer or no points should be deducted. It is fine if the fumble is -1 and losing it is another -1. Do you credit the offensive player who recovers his teammates (or own) fumble for +1?

Oh that's what you meant. Yeah I don't like -1 just for fumbles either even if its recovered by teammates. I can't do +1 if their teammates recover it and I doubt anyone would bother doing that cause its usually the offensive linemen that recover it anyways. I'll wait for most of the team managers to respond with their opinions before I get rid of it or keep it.

I view fumbles as a bad thing no matter if they are recovered. Since it's a risk and it can stop the drive dead with an untimely fumble. But really, since it's only 1 point it shouldn't make a huge difference.

No. What are the draft dates for the other soompi leagues so I know not to put them on the same day?
Is there any time or day that is not good for anyone?

I have some opinions on the rules .. take them or leave them .. ill live either way
Extra points should be more .... for example only one extra point for over 300 yards passing when u get one point for just 20 yards i think you should up the bonus to at least 2 .... same for rushing and receiving .. and i agree that it should be 100 not 150
rushing 2 point conversion should be 3 not 2 since you get 2 points for a pass and teams try passing more often than not on 2 pointers .... also they should be 3 because that is half of 6 (point total for a td) passing conversions are 2 (half of a passing td) .... idk if that makes sense but i am done trying to make it make sense ,, i just think the ratio should be the same for both
i think the same for the distance of the td .. if a passing td is 4 and an 80 yard td pass is 4 extra then if a rushing td is 6 then an 80 yard td should be 6 and a 40-79 should be 3 (half of 6) .. same for a receiving td
just trying to help .. like i said take them or leave ,, ill live either way
